Hammonton scored eight runs on 15 hits to beat host Absecon 8-2 in an Atlantic County Baseball League game Tuesday.

Frank Galeota led with four hits and two RBIs, while Nick Crescenzo and Matt Ingemi had three hits apiece.

Hammonton won its 10th game of the season behind Billy Jackson, who earned the win with two strikeouts. Trevor Rosenberg struck out four in two innings of relief to close the game.

Dan Allen put Absecon (7-4) on the board with a two-run home run in the first inning.

Wildwood 6, Egg Harbor City 1: Nic Long was 3-for-4, including two doubles and three RBIs to lead Wildwood. Curtis Gift added two hits and drove in two runs.

Casey Corruters pitched three innings with three strikeouts and one earned run for the win.

Wildwood evens its record at 6-6.

Ventnor 3, Ocean City 1: Mark Crenz pitched a complete game striking out three and allowing one earned run.

Joel Mejia led Ventnor's offense, going 3-for-3 with an RBI double. Brett Uhing chipped in a double and single.

Ventnor is now 7-3.

John Sayese was 2-for-2 as Ocean City dropped to 7-7.
