The Buffalo Bills are one of the league’s streakier teams, having won their second straight last week in Jacksonville, 28-21, to follow a three-game losing streak, which came after four straight wins.
It all adds up to 6-5 though, which leaves them very much alive in the playoff chase, albeit tied with the Texans, Steelers and Ravens and trailing Denver, Miami and Kansas City for a Wild Card spot.
This Sunday may be their toughest test of the year as they travel coast-to-coast to take on the 9-2 Oakland Raiders who have muddled about a bit the last three or four weeks but still managed to win their last five.
While they aren’t perfect, the Raiders do own the second-best record in the NFL. But they can’t afford to relax as they lead the Chiefs by just one game in the AFC West and one of their losses was to Kansas City at home six weeks ago.
