Buena Regional High School's Karlie Gruccio scored the winning goal as the Chiefs field hockey team edged host Middle Township 3-2 on Monday.
The score was 2-2 until Gruccio scored her 13th goal of the year with 4 minutes, 34 seconds left in regulation.
Jessica Zwaan and Gina Rios scored the other Buena goals, and Gruccio and Marisa Pastore had assists.
Middle's Samantha Szathmary opened the scoring on a corner midway through the first half, off an assist by Nicole Hand. Teammate Erica Coughlin tied it at 2-2 with 18:54 left.

The Lions had taken the lead when Amber Giresi scored an unassisted goal six minutes into the game.
Goalies Stephanie Fuchilla from Lacey and Meghan Ramos from Southern both had 16 saves. The still-unbeaten Rams saw their season-opening six-game winning streak end.
