The Richard Stockton College women's soccer team visits Rowan University today at 7 p.m. in the semifinals of the New Jersey Athletic Conference Tournament in Glassboro.
The game is a rematch of last year's NJAC tournament final, won by Rowan, 2-0.
The Profs (15-1-1) are the top seed in the tournament. The Ospreys (13-6-1) are seeded fourth. Richard Stockton advanced to the semifinals with a 2-0 shutout over the fifth seed Kean University on Saturday.
The winner will face the winner of No. 3 seed William Paterson University (10-6-3) and No. 2 seed The College of New Jersey (15-2) on Friday in the conference championship at the higher-seeded school.
Forwards Jess Babice and Veronica Rhea are the Profs' scoring leaders with 43 and 40 points, respectively. Babice has 19 goals and five assists while Rhea has 12 goals and 16 assists.
Shelley Gibney leads the Ospreys with 25 points, with eight goals and nine assists this season. Holy Spirit High school graduate Leah Pocoroba has a team-high 10 goals and three assists for 23 points.
Tickets for the conference tournament are $5 for adults and $2 for students, children and senior citizens. The NJAC champion receives an automatic bid to the NCAA Division III tournament.

Awards: Richard Stockton College sophomore outside hitter Christine Velott was named NJAC women's volleyball Player of the Week for the second consecutive time on Monday. Stockton senior Stephanie Krupa was selected the NJAC women's tennis Player of the Week.
Velott led the Ospreys to a 2-1 mark last week by averaging a team-high 4.25 kills and 2.67 digs ;per game. She had two double-doubles, with 14 kills and 13 digs in a win over Neumann, and a career-high 23 kills and 15 digs in a victory over DeSales. Velott, who was the 2008 NJAC Rookie of the Year, is second in the conference in kills with a 3.49 average.
Krupa had a 6-0, 6-0 win at third singles and an 8-0 victory at second doubles with Ana Estevez in the Ospreys' final match of the fall season, an 8-1 win at William Paterson University. It was the second time this fall that Krupa has received the Player of the Week honor. She finished the season with a 12-5 singles record and a 10-2 mark in doubles.
Stockton junior men's soccer midfielder Sean Nelson was named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District II men's soccer third team. Nelson, a history major, has a 3.76 grade point average. He has four goals and six assists this season.
