WAYNE - The Southern Regional girls volleyball team couldn't defend its Group IV state title on Saturday morning. The Rams fell 2-0 (25-19, 25-18) to undefeated Bridgewater-Raritan at William Paterson University.
Southern seniors Avery Hodgson had seven kills and a clock, Chelsea Post had six kills, Taran Volta had 16 digs, Janine Kaiser had 18 assists and Erin Horleman had nine digs.
