Quarterback Nick Foles (Westlake High School, Austin, Texas): "I have quite a few good memories from high school, but my favorite was probably winning the game that got us to the state championship game my senior year. We beat Pearland in the 5A-Division I semifinals and we played it at Texas A&M's stadium in College Station. We lost in the state final at the Alamodome in San Antonio, but just getting there was great."

Defensive end Phillip Hunt (Dunbar High School, Fort Worth, Texas): "Just making it to the 4A playoffs my senior year at Dunbar was a big deal because I had gone through a lot to get there. I transferred to Dunbar from O.D. Wyatt just before my senior year. We wound up losing in the first round of the playoffs, but it was a lot of fun just getting that far."

Guard Julian Vandervelde (Davenport Central High School, Davenport, Iowa): "I broke my foot in the third or fourth game of my senior year and I thought I was going to miss the rest of the season. But I made it back in time for our Senior Night game against our big rival, Pleasant Valley. I played offensive and defensive line the whole game and we beat them. We only won five games my entire high school career, so to beat them meant a lot."
