Atlantic City Race Course drew its largest crowd in more than 10 years for Sunday's six live horse races, officials said.

The announced attendance for the fourth of six days of live racing at the Hamilton Township track was 9,822.

"This was a tremendously exciting day for Atlantic City Race Course," track president Maureen Bugdon said in a statement.

Live racing continues Monday and Tuesday with seven races each day starting at 3:30 p.m. The historic track has simulcast races and betting the rest of the year.
