Hammonton will move on to the final round of the Atlantic County Baseball League playoffs to take on defending champion Margate.

Hammonton beat Absecon in the third and final game of their semifinal series, 7-1, Wednesday night in Hammonton. The game was played in Hammonton due to the poor field conditions in Absecon.

Starting pitcher Billy Jackson struck out 10 and threw a complete game, allowing only three hits.

Mike Crescenzo had a two-run single in the first inning to get the ball rolling for Hammonton.

Matt Ingemi added a two-run single in the seventh to cap off the scoring.

Steve Hartley drove in the lone run for Absecon in the fifth.

The best-of-five championship series between Margate and Hammonton will start Monday at 7 p.m.. in Margate.
