The Atlantic Shore 14-and-under baseball team returns to action today at the Babe Ruth Middle Atlantic Regional when it plays North Syracuse at Surf Stadium in Atlantic City.

Atlantic Shore, consisting of players from Atlantic and Cape May counties, is the tournament host and will play at 4 p.m. On Thursday, Atlantic Shore won its tournament opener, beating Piedmont (Delaware) 12-0.

North Syracuse (Western New York) is 0-2, having lost 7-0 to South Shore (Metro New York) 7-0 on Thursday and 7-5 to Piedmont on Friday.

In other games Friday, South Shore broke a 2-2 tie in the bottom of the seventh inning to defeat Clifton Park 3-2, and Cecil County (Maryland) beat Hightstown (Southern New Jersey) 2-0.
