"Every year it is our goal to win the B South and hopefully win states," Barnegat coach Rob Davis said. "We brought the title back to Barnegat."

The Bengals had a lot of help from sophomore running back Paul Wickwire, who ran for more than 100 yards and had a 20-yard touchdown in the third quarter.

Barnegat finishes its season at 4 p.m. Dec. 7 in the South Jersey Group III final against Delsea Regional at Rowan University.

"Wickwire is the fastest kid I've coached." Davis said.

"He has a lot of potential and will be utilized a lot against Delsea."

Pinelands (1-9) scored both its touchdowns in the fourth quarter - a 1-yard run by Shemar Gadson and a 57-yard pass from Dan MacPhee to Jimmy Graham.
