A seventh-inning error allowed the Buena Regional High School baseball team to come back and beat Moorestown 8-6 on Saturday.

Buena took a 7-6 lead in the seventh inning when Jordan Ellis' bunt was mishandled, allowing both Josh Cooper and Dom Pace to score. Marco Rios' RBI single tacked on another run to give the Chiefs some insurance.

Dom Lopez had a double and two RBIs in the game, and Jon Cooper had a double. Andrew Cartier was the winning pitcher.

EHT starting pitcher Austin Fottrell hit a triple in the second inning to score the first run of the game.

Max Joseph hit a two-run double in the seventh for Cherokee.

Vineland 3, Cumberland Regional 1

Cumberland scored in the first inning, but a three-run second inning by Vineland proved to be the difference maker. Austin Padilla, Lukkus Perez and Jim Hague drove in Vineland's runs. Hague's hit was a double.

Ivan Rivera pitched a complete game to earn the win for Vineland, allowing an unearned run on two hits and two walks, striking out two. Michael Foytik of Cumberland Regional allowed three runs on four hits and two walks with a strikeout in six innings.

Wildwood's Matt Bolle and Anthony Korobellis each had two hits. Korobellis doubled and Chris Mormile tripled.

On the mound, Bolle allowed three runs and struck out two in three innings. Billy Bolle pitched four shutout innings in relief.

Sophomore pitcher A.J. Pecora pitched five innings, allowing one run on one hit and six walks, striking out two. It was his first varsity win.

Oakcrest scored three runs in the fifth inning to break a 3-3 tie. Cameron Lease was the winning pitcher, striking out two. He also hit a double. Kenny Merlock had two hits including a triple and scored three times.

Cedar Creek's Martin Ortiz hit a pair of doubles and Jon Neuman had a double and two RBIs

Alex Boney struck out nine in the loss for the Pirates.
