The Egg Harbor Township High School baseball team earned a big Cape-Atlantic League win on Friday, beating St. Augustine Prep 4-2.

St. Augustine (11-4) is No. 4 in The Press Elite 11. EHT (10-5) is unranked.

Sophomore Brandon Riggs, making his first career varsity start, pitched a complete game. He allowed two runs on seven hits and one walk, striking out one.

Riggs improved his record to 3-0, having earned his other two winning decisions in relief.

"He's a kid that feels no pressure," coach Bryan Carmichael said on the phone. "He just goes out there and does his job. He throws his three pitches for strikes."

Kyle Eisele hit an RBI double, driving in Nick Sartorio, in the bottom of the seventh inning to win the game for Cedar Creek. Creek's Giuseppe Scanga had two hits and two RBIs.

Pleasantville's Carmello Hernandez had two hits, including a triple, and a run scored.

Anthony Korobellis doubled and drove in five runs, including two sacrifice flies. Chris Mormile and Brendan Bean scored four runs for the Warriors.

Lower's Bradley Fournier had a two-run single in the fifth.
