Christian Mortellite scored a game-high 27 points, including four 3-pointers, as Hammonton handed South-ern Regional its first loss of the season, winning 52-48 in the semifinals of Southern Regional's Score at the Shore tournament Thursday.

Justin Harris added 12 points for the Blue Devils.

Southern's Mike Gesicki led the Rams with 25 points. Anthony Speziale scored 10 points for Southern, which is No. 11 in The Press Elite 11.

Hammonton will play Robbinsville, which defeated Monroe 44-34, in the championship game Saturday at 4 p.m. Southern will play Monroe in a consolation game at 2:15 p.m. on Saturday.
