The Holy Spirit High School boys basketball team pulled away from Mainland Regional in the fourth quarter, going 9-for-10 from the free-throw line to seal a 57-49 win over Mainland Regional on Tuesday.

The Cape-Atlantic League American Conference game was tied with two minutes left.

Paul Moore scored a game-high 18 points for Spirit. John Midi added 13 for the Spartans, who ended a four-game losing streak.

Ted Mazzeo led Mainland with 14 points and Darius Jerkins scored 13.
