Darius Jerkins collected his fourth straight double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds as Mainland Regional High School beat Buena Regional 47-40 in a Cape-Atlantic League boys basketball game Friday.

Ted Mazzeo also scored 13 points for the Mustangs.

Trayvond Barbary and Darryl Guilford each scored 10 for Buena.

Justin Harris scored a game-high 24 points for Hammonton. Harris scored 15 of his points in the fourth quarter. Matt Costa added 14 for the Blue Devils.

Ben Mitchell led St. Joe with 16 points. Charles Riccardi scored 10 for the Wildcats.

Isaiah Price and Jordan Brooks each scored eight points to pace Oakcrest.

Freshman guard Vernon Burch was 3-for-4 from the foul line in the fourth quarter to aid the Falcons down the stretch.

Jalen Renna registered 14 points for Lower Cape May, including four 3-pointers. Dennis Olson also posted 14 points for the Caper Tigers.

Pat Zanzalari hit two free throws with half a second left to seal the win for Barnegat. Zanzalari grabbed a team-high 15 rebounds.

Ryan Ulrich contributed with six assists and Kyle Morris recorded five blocks.

Bennie Bivens led the Bengals in scoring with 10 points.
