ATLANTIC CITY — The Wildwood Catholic High School boys basketball team turned a 13-point deficit into a lopsided win Saturday, beating Absegami 62-39 at the Battle by the Bay.

The Crusaders trailed 29-16 with just more than two minutes to go in the first half.

They closed the half on a 10-0 run and then outscored Absegami 36-10 in the second half.

The win was a big one for Wildwood Catholic, which had lost two of its past three after starting the season 13-1.

Eddie McWade led the Crusaders, who are ranked No. 11 in The Press Elite 11, with 15 of his 21 points in the second half.
