A look ahead
Oakcrest was the story of the season. With nine seniors graduating, it’s uncertain how the Falcons will bounce back in 2013. However, Pleasantville, which tied for the South Jersey Group II championship with Willingboro, returns several of its top athletes, including twin distance runners Jacob and Isaac Clark.
The season ended a week early for Bridgeton’s standout thrower Braheme Days Jr. The junior missed the Meet of Champions due to a knee injury that hampered his throwing technique. Days, one of the nation’s best scholastic throwers, has one more year to add to his accolades.
