LHP Scott DeCecco (Middle Township) gave up three runs, one earned, in five innings for the Clinton LumberKings (Mariners) in a 7-4 loss to Kane County in the Class-A Midwest League on Saturday night. DeCecco left the game with a 4-3 lead after allowing three hits, striking out three and walking three. His record stayed at 3-3, and he lowered his ERA to 2.77. He has 30 strikeouts and 12 walks in 39 innings over seven starts.
