Pete Tavarez rolled a game-high 209 to go along with a team-high 556 series as Hammonton High School defeated host Atlantic County Institute of Technology 3-1 in a boys bowling match Wednesday at King Pin Bowling in Egg Harbor Township.

For ACIT, Derrick Sickler rolled a match-best 557 series.

The Red Hawks won the first game, but Hammonton went on to win with two straight victories.
