Former South Jersey golf pro Bob Lennon plays in U.S. Senior Open

A former South Jersey golf pro played in the U.S. Senior Open at Indianwood Golf and Country Club in Lake Orion, Mich., on Thursday and Friday.

Bob Lennon, who worked at Blue Heron Pines Golf Club in GallowayTownship, shot an 8-over-par 148, missing the cut by four strokes.

Lennon, now at Wilmington Country Club in Delaware, had five birdies, nine bogeys and two double bogeys.

He ran the Bob Lennon Golf Learning Center at Blue Heron and founded the South Jersey Junior Golf Foundation in 1998.
