Bridget Flynn of Ocean City High School set a school record in the 800-meter run on Sunday.

Flynn ran 2 minutes, 14.64 seconds to finish 19th in the 800 at the New Balance Indoor National Championships at the Armory in New York. Her time broke her own school record of 2:15.09 set earlier this winter.

The three-day meet featured runners from across the country.

In other races, the Ocean City girls distance medley team set a school record Friday. The foursome of Epiphany Grisbaum, Cierra Granger, Rachel Stremme and Flynn finished eighth in 12:02.51. Flynn ran her 1,600 anchor leg in 4:57.16 1,600 anchor leg. Grisbaum ran a 3:48.58 opening 1,200 leg.
