After day two of the 2012 Mid-Atlantic $500,000 Marlin and Tuna Tournament, Cape May resident Chris Lepping sits in third place in the white marlin category.

Lepping, aboard his boat named Motivation, weighed in at 67 pounds behind Robert Warder of Parkton, Md., on Reelentless, who weighed in at 79 pounds, and Rusty Palmer of Berlin, Md., on Tighten Up, with a 70-pound white marlin.

Meanwhile, the largest tuna in the tournament's 21-year history was caught by Anthony Matarese of Ocean City, Md., at 233 pounds on his boat Reel Chaos.

The dolphin lead currently belongs to Don Pyle of Annapolis, Md., with a 43-pounder caught from Moore Bill.

A blue marlin and wahoo have yet to be caught, leaving both categories vacant as 109 boats hit the water on Tuesday.
