John Castro and Sam Giones each went 2-for-3 as the Cecil County Braves beat Gildea's Raiders 4-1 at the 46th annual Bridgeton Baseball Invitational Tournament on Saturday at Alden Field.

Castro scored a run and Giones had an RBI. Mike Germinski homered and scored twice. Jonathan Rodriguez doubled, scored and knocked in a run. Brandon Sallers went 2-for-3.

Susquehanna Assault 3, D&E Iron Work Titans 0: Dave Hughes went 3-for-4, including two doubles, with an run and RBI. Cody Holliday homered and knocked in two runs.

The tournament continues today at 3:30 p.m. when F&M Bank plays the Bridgeton All Stars.

The Cecil County Braves play Susquehanna Assault at 5 p.m. and Seabrook Storm plays Max's Baseball at 6:30 p.m.
