The Cedar Creek High School boys basketball team beat visiting Oakcrest 69-61 on Friday. Jacob Knight led the Pirates with 21 points, including 14 in the first half, and had 11 rebounds.

Michael Gaines had 18 points for Cedar Creek, and Lavelle Davis added 15. John Newman scored nine of his 11 points in the first half. Oakcrest’s Trevor Little and Ladarell Dixon scored 16 and 15 points, respectively.
