WOMEN
Shereesha Richards (Atlantic Christian) scored 15 points and grabbed seven rebounds for Albany in a 67-47 win over Canisius on Friday night at the Beach Classic in Long Beach, Calif. For Canisius, Ashley Durham (Sacred Heart) tallied a rebound and an assist in the loss.
Kristen Sharkey (Southern Regional) scored eight points, had 10 rebounds and two blocks for Buffalo in a 65-51 home win over Niagara.
MEN
Josh Thompson (St. Augustine Prep) scored eight points, had two rebounds and an assist for Wagner in a 63-53 win at the Cable Car Classic in Santa Clara, Calif.
