The Delaware Valley College football team rallied in the fourth quarter to beat Rowan University 35-27 in the season opener on Saturday in Doylestown, Pa. The Aggies outscored Rowan 28-0 in the fourth quarter.

Rowan led 20-0 at halftime and 27-7 after three quarters. Delaware Valley took the lead with 4 minutes, 2 seconds left as quarterback Aaron Wilson fired an 8-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Lewis Vincent. The Aggies added another touchdown on Wilmer's 13-yard run.

Rowan quarterback Paul Hamersma completed 25 of 41 passes for 270 yards and two touchdowns.

Also for the Profs, defensive end Josh Popper (Egg Harbor Township) had eight tackles, tied for the team lead.

Hamersma hit wideout Russ Forchion (Hammon-ton) with a 26-yard pass that set up a Rowan touchdown in the second quarter that put the Profs up 14-0.

Rowan plays its home opener at 1 p.m. Saturday against Framingham State University in Glassboro.
