Joe Auleta (Hammonton H.S.) was named the New Jersey Athletic Conference men's soccer Defensive Player of the Week after contributing both defensively and offensively in two conference victories for Rutgers-Camden.

He helped the defense hold Rowan to just four shots on goal in a 2-1 overtime win on the road. He also had a game-tying penalty kick.

In a 4-1 win over Kean, the sophomore had two assists while the defense allowed just five shots on goal.

Mitch Grotti (Millville) scored two goals in the win over Kean.

Rutgers-Newark freshman Matt Broomall (Mainland Regional) was named the ECAC Division III Metro Defensive Player of the Week for his performance in two Scarlet Raiders shutouts.

Tyler Harlan (Egg Harbor Township) played defense and Pat Griggs (Absegami) scored his first collegiate goal to help King's College beat Penn State Berks 3-1.

Football

Gettysburg freshman cornerback Brian Calatozzo (St. Augustine Prep) made an interception in the Bullets' 35-24 win over Susequehanna on Saturday.

Golf

Scott Reardon (Mainland) shot a career-low 75 for Stevens Institute of Technology in both the first and second rounds of the Penn State Harrisburg Classic at Dauphin Highlands Golf Course this past weekend.

He set a Stevens record for low score and led the Ducks to an eighth-place finish.

Field hockey

The College of New Jersey freshman Roisin Dougherty (Ocean City) picked up her third shutout as the Lions, ranked No. 1 in the nation among NCAA Division III programs, beat Juniata College 3-0 Saturday for their 20th straight win. ... McDaniel's Katie Corson (Ocean City) had an assist in a 4-0 win over Bryn Mawr in a Centennial Conference game Saturday. ... Montclair State senior Frances Schaefer (Holy Spirit) tallied an assist in a 3-0 win over Rowan on Saturday.

Women's soccer

Chestnut Hill College's Carly DiGiovanni (Ocean City) recorded her first collegiate hat trick in a nine-minute span during a 5-2 Central Atlantic Athletic Conference win over Concordia College. She led the Griffins in scoring (15 points, seven goals, one assist) and was a CAAC Women's Soccer Player of the Week honorable mention.

Sara Conover (Egg Harbor Township) scored a goal and had an assist in Penn State Berks' two wins over SUNY Cobleskill and SUNY IT.

Conover scored her North Eastern Athletic Conference-leading ninth goal and collected her third assist of the season for a conference-best 21 points.

Cross country

TCNJ sophomore Andrew DeMaria (Ocean City) was fifth Saturday in the men's 8,000-meter race at the Osprey Open at Richard Stockton College in 26 minutes, 52.21 seconds. The Lions won the team title. ... Ramapo College freshman Brianna Springsteadah (Millville) was second in 20:39.3 at the Roadrunner XC Invitational held in West Paterson on Friday.

Tennis

Stonehill College sophomore Paige Frost (Holy Spirit) defeated Philadelphia University's Olivia Amato in straight sets at No. 4 singles in a 7-2 win Friday. Frost also teamed with Bailey Paradiso to win at first doubles.

West Chester University's Alex Santoro (Holy Spirit) picked up victories at third singles and third doubles during an 8-1 win over the University of Sciences on Saturday.
