Cumberland County College baseball player Tim Gallagher (Hammonton) was named the National Junor College Athletic Association's Division III Player of the Week and the Garden State Athletic Conference Player of the Week for his offensive efforts in four victories.

The freshman went 8-for-12 for a .667 batting average. He knocked in seven runs and stole three bases. In a 9-1 win over Montgomery County Community College (Pa.), Gallagher went 3-for-3 with three RBIs and two stolen bases. He leads the Dukes with a .565 batting average and 12 RBIs.
