Los Angeles Angels' Mike Trout hits an RBI double during the sixth inning of a baseball game against the Cleveland Indians in Anaheim, Calif. 

Mike Trout, an outfielder with the Los Angeles Angels, was the 2012 and 2013 American League MVP runner-up and the 2012 AL Rookie of the Year. Trout, 22, is a 2009 Millville High School graduate.

Wednesday: Trout was 1-for-3 with a double, a walk and two RBIs and a run scored in the Angels’ 7-1 victory over the Indians.

Thursday: The Angels do not play. Their next game is Friday at home against the Texas Rangers at 10:05 p.m.

Stats: Trout is hitting .321 (35-for-109) with six home runs, 21 runs and 18 RBIs. His on-base percentage is .403 and his OPS (OBP plus slugging percentage) is 1.000. He also has stolen four bases.
