Mike Trout, an outfielder with the Los Angeles Angels, was the 2012 American League Rookie of the Year and MVP runner-up. Trout, 21, is a 2009 Millville High School graduate who was a two-time Press Player of the Year and The Press Male Athlete of the Year for the 2008-09 school year.

Stats: Trout is hitting .283 with 25 RBIs and 24 runs scored in 38 games. He had 11 doubles, three triples and six homers, along with six stolen bases on eight attempts.
