Mike Trout, an outfielder with the Los Angeles Angels, was the 2012 American League Rookie of the Year and MVP runner-up. Trout, 21, is a 2009 Millville High School graduate who was a two-time Press Player of the Year and The Press Male Athlete of the Year for the 2008-09 school year.

Sunday: Was 1-for-5 in a 5-4 loss to the Astros.

Notes: Trout has homered and stolen a base in the same game four times this season — most in the American League going into Sunday’s games, the Angels said ... He has done it 11 times in his career, tied with Don Baylor for the second most in Angels history. Darin Erstad did it 14 times. ... Trout did it seven times last season, tying the club record set by the late Bobby Bonds in 1977. ... Rickey Henderson holds the MLB record of 13.
