Mike Trout, an outfielder with the Los Angeles Angels, was the 2012 American League Rookie of the Year and MVP runner-up. Trout, 21, is a 2009 Millville High School graduate who was a two-time Press Player of the Year and The Press Male Athlete of the Year for the 2008-09 school year.

Saturday: Went 1-for-2 with two walks and one run scored in a 12-9 win over Chicago. He also got hit by a pitch and was thrown out trying to steal second base.
