Angels' Mike Trout hit a solo home run in Sunday's game against the Toronto Blue Jays.

Mike Trout, an outfielder with the Los Angeles Angels, was the 2012 American League Rookie of the Year and MVP runner-up. Trout, 21, is a 2009 Millville High School graduate who was a two-time Press Player of the Year and The Press Male Athlete of the Year for the 2008-09 school year.

Saturday: Went 1-for-2 with a walk and two runs scored in a 7-3 victory over the Toronto Blue Jays.

Sunday: Went 2-2 with a solo home run, a single and two walks in a 6-5 loss to the Blue Jays.

Today: The Angles will host Texas and starting pitcher Martin Perez (3-3, 3.93) in a 10:05 p.m. game.
