Mike Trout, an outfielder with the Los Angeles Angels, was the 2012 and 2013 American League MVP runner-up and the 2012 AL Rookie of the Year. Trout, 22, is a 2009 Millville High School graduate.

Tuesday: Trout went 0-for-2 with three walks in a 6-4 win over the Indians. He also stole his fourth base of the season.

Today: The Angels host the Indians and starter Carlos Carrasco (0-3, 6.95 ERA) at 7:05 p.m.

Stats: Trout is hitting .321 (34-for-106) with six home runs, 20 runs and 16 RBIs. His on-base percentage is .400 and his OPS (OBP plus slugging percentage) .994.
