The Eagles will start their second preseason under coach Chip Kelly on the road this summer.

They will begin the four-game preseason with back-to-back road trips. They open with a trip to Chicago's Soldier Field in the first week of the preseason, then travel to meet New England at Gillette Stadium.

There is a chance the Eagles could be spending a few extra days in New England. Last summer, the Patriots and Eagles conducted joint practices at the NovaCare Complex for two days leading up to their preseason game.

The Eagles' first preseason game at Lincoln Financial Field will be against Pittsburgh, followed by their annual matchup with the New York Jets, also at the Linc.

The Eagles and Jets have faced each other in the final preseason game every year since 2001.

The exact dates and times will be released at a later date. The Eagles' regular-season schedule will be announced on April 17.
