Sophomore midfielder Jackie DeLong scored the game-winning goal 22 seconds into the first overtime as Wildwood Catholic High School beat Sacred Heart 1-0 in a Cape-Atlantic League National Conference girls soccer game Thursday.

Freshman striker Gia Tammaro split a pair of defenders before finding DeLong with a pass. DeLong one-timed the shot in for the winner.

Jenna Long earned her first shutout of the season with six saves.

Jessica Mann led Mainland's offense with one goal and an assist. It was her 14th goal of the season.

Abby Carey and Maddie Williscroft also scored for the Mustangs. The win gave Mainland a one-game lead on the Blue Devils in the CAL American Conference Division II.

Zoe Conover scored for Hammonton, and goalie Bridget Alessandrini stopped eight shots.

Hannah Daigle scored twice in a span of 1 minute, 24 seconds for Millville. Janeese Barber also scored twice for the Thunderbolts.

Katie Parent and Mallori Higbee both had two assists in the win. McKenzie Taylor made six saves.

For Vineland, Stephanie Metcalf scored an unassisted goal, and Nina Singleton scored on a pass from Stephanie Alvarez.
