Atlantic Cape Community College student-athletes Abdul Abubakar, Danielle Kebert, Kerry Player and Sarah Street were named Academic All-Americans by the National Junior College Athletic Association.

Abubakar (Egg Harbor Township), a defender on the men's soccer team, maintained a 4.0 grade-point average and received the NJCAA Pinnacle Award for academic achievement.

Kebert (Cape May Tech), who played first base and was fifth in Region XIX in batting average on the softball team, also maintained a 4.0 and won the Leadership Award.

Player (Cape May Tech), a center on the women's basketball team and outside hitter on the volleyball team, earned a 3.6 GPA. In two basketball seasons, she led the nation in blocked shots, scored 671 points and grabbed 588 rebounds.

Street (Absegami) is a setter on the volleyball team and a guard on the women's basketball team.

She earned a 3.94 GPA and was named a "Woman of the Year" by the New Jersey Chapter of the National Association for Girls and Women in Sports.
