The Ocean City High School football team earned its first win of the season 42-39 on Friday against Middle Township in a Cape-Atlantic League matchup.

The Raiders’ Frank Wooley had his number called often, carrying the ball into the endzone four times — one from 2 yards out, one from 9, and the other two from 7 and 4 yards out.

Middle’s quarterback Joe Durso threw for three touchdowns, the last one coming in the fourth quarter that cut the score to 42-39.

Yamir McNeal scored on a pair of touchdown runs for the Panthers.

Ocean City now improves its record to 1-4. Middle’s record stands at 2-3.
