Powerboat racer Warren Brown of Galloway Township was the overall Jersey Speed Skiffs winner at the Cambridge Classic in Cambridge, Md., on July 27 and 28. Brown and son Warren Brown IV, the riding mechanic, placed first in their boat "Kiss" in the heat and final on day two.

They were first in their heat and third in the final on the first day. Skiffs have two people in the boat.

The elder Brown said he is fourth in American Powerboat Association national points in the skiffs category. Brown and "Kiss" will next race on Lake Lenape in Mays Landing on Sept. 7 and 8.
