Gary Thompson pitched a complete game as the Margate Hurricanes beat host Hammonton 7-2 in an Atlantic County Baseball League game at Hammonton Lake Park on Saturday.
Thompson allowed five hits, struck out seven and walked none.
Matt Will singled in two runs during Margate's four-run third inning. Dan Coia had two hits for the Hurricanes (6-1), and teammates Jason Law, Charlie Law and Chris Knott each had RBIs.
Nick Crescenzo doubled and singled for Hammonton (2-4).
