Mainland Regional High School went 5-for-6 from the free-throw line in double overtime to beat Lower Cape May Regional 51-48 in a Cape-Atlantic League girls basketball game Thursday.

Lower Cape May tied the game at 35 at the end of regulation. The Caper Tigers were ahead by two with five seconds left in overtime, but Emily Dalessio's layup sent the game into double overtime for Mainland.

Dalessio led the Mustangs with 20 points.

Madie Gibson scored a game-high 22 points for Lower.

Julia Duggan led Ocean City with a game-high 33 points, including 14 in the second half.

Katie Johnson posted all 10 of her points in the second half, including 6-of-6 from the foul line in the fourth quarter.

Ocean City, ranked No. 3 in The Press Elite 11, improved to 10-1 with the victory.

For Atlantic City, Deaja Reynolds led with 13 points and Sahara Lopez added 10.
