Girls basketball roundup: Alex Raring scores 24 to lead Mainland over Buena in overtime

The Mainland Regional High School girls basketball team defeated host Buena Regional 49-46 in overtime of a Cape-Atlantic League interdivision game Thursday.

Alex Raring scored a game-high 24 points and had seven steals and seven rebounds for Mainland. Megan Stafford and Emily Dalessio each added eight points for the Mustangs.

Caroline Santiago led Buena with 13 points.
