Senior forward Annie Wenz scored a game-high 32 points as Holy Spirit High School defeated host Absegami 48-36 in a Cape-Atalntic League American Conference game Tuesday.

The Spartans, ranked No. 9 in the Press Elite 11, improved to 2-0 with the win.

Holy Spirit held a six-point lead going into the final quarter and outscored the Braves 12-6 to pull away.

Wenz, who recorded five points in Holy Spirit's first game of the season, made 14 field goals.

Brielle Clarke and Mary Riggs each scored nine points for Absegami.
