Tiana Cannon scored her 1,000th career point as Atlantic City High School, No. 11 in The Press' Elite 11, beat Perth Amboy 65-50 in the Lady Viking Holiday Classic semifinal on Sunday.

Cannon reached the milestone on her final point of the game, a free throw in the fourth quarter. The 5-foot-10 forward totaled 27 points and also had 12 rebounds.

Bria Hill added nine points for Atlantic City, which will face Paterson Eastside today at 1:30 p.m. for the tournament championship.

Erin Arroyo led Perth Amboy with 16 points.
