Avery Hodgson sank a 3-pointer at the buzzer to give Southern Regional High School a 49-48 win over Franklin Area (Pa.) in a nonconference girls basketball game Sunday in Orlando, Fla.

The game was part of a tournament held by KSA Events at the Wide World of Sports complex at Disney World.

Hodgson scored 17 points and pulled down nine rebounds for the Rams, No. 2 in The Press' Elite 11. Kristen Sharkey grabbed 12 rebounds and was perfect at the free-throw line, hitting 6-of-6 and scoring 16 points. Amanda Holloway added eight points, including two 3-pointers.

The Rams will face another Pennsylvania team today before returning home to compete in the WBOM Christmas Tournament in Toms River on Wednesday.
