The Holy Spirit High school girls basketball team defeated Mainland Regional 49-39 in a Cape-Atlantic League American Division matchup on Friday.

Leading for the Spartans was Summer Crilley who scored 20 points, 10 of which came in the fourth quarter. She also had eight rebounds and four assists.

Audrey Wilson added 12 points.

Megan Stafford was the Mustangs' leading scorer with 11 points shooting 3-5 from the line.

Shea Scannell and Emily Dalessio scored a combined 16 points with each getting a pair of 3-pointers for Mainland.
