Nicki Read finally broke the tie with 2 minutes, 39 seconds left in the first overtime to lead Millville to a win over Hammonton in a Cape-Atlantic League girls soccer game Friday.

The teams were tied after the first half. Millville is No. 9 in The Press Elite 11.

Emily Daigle put the Bolts up 1-0 just under 14 minutes into the game. Hammonton tied it up with 3 minutes, 25 seconds left in the first half thanks to Leisha Contes.

Alexa Giagunto assisted on the first two goals and she scored the third goal. Gab Christiansen recorded the shutout with seven saves. Wildwood Catholic's Lauren Moretti made 21 saves.
