The Absegami High School girls volleyball team defeated Pleasantville 2-0 on Thursday to improve to 9-2 for the season.
The Braves won the first game 25-15 and the second 25-6. Absegami's Ivelisse Diaz had five aces and five kills. Barbara Gedeon had five kills and Diouise Ko had 11 assists.
Pleasantville's Gisela Palomino had six digs. Pleasantville fell to 0-6.
Oakcrest 2, St. Joseph's 0
Oakcrest won the first game, 25-19 and the second, 26-18.
Caroline Snyder, Amber Anthony and Tiffany Valiante all had eight kills each for Oakcrest.
