Hammonton High School's Phil Bakuckas lost in the 160-pound state individual wrestling final on Sunday at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City.
Bakuckas let a 3-0 lead over Johnny Sebastian of Bergen Catholic slip away in the final 30 seconds of the match.
It was Bakuckas' first loss of the season. He finishes at 41-1.
Lacey Township's Lex Knapp also suffered his first loss of the season in the finals when he lost 7-2 to Brandon Hull of Phillipsburg. Knapp finished the season at 42-1.
