Josh Herrin and Josh Hayes took the spotlight over the weekend at the AMA Pro National Guard Pro SuperBike races at New Jersey Motorsports Park in Millville.

Herrin, who leads in SuperBike points, won Saturday’s race for his fourth win of the season. Hayes was the first rider to cross the line, but a five-second “anticipating the start” penalty put him fourth.

Hayes took Sunday’s race for his 40th career win, and eighth at New Jersey Motorsports Park.

Herrin leads by 22 points for the National Guard Pro SuperBike championship.

Cameron Beaubier clinched the GoPro Daytona Sportbike championship with a win on Saturday, and followed that with another win in Sunday’s race.

Corey Alexander clinched the AMA Pro Motorcycle-Superstore SuperSport East Division championship on Sunday at NJMP by one point over Hayden Gillim.

Steve Rapp won the only AMA Pro Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson Series race of the weekend. Rapp, who is seeking his first AMA Pro championship, has a 22-point lead.
